Back in 1996, Off Duty actually started life as a provider of support to long service police officers preparing for their retirement from the Job.
Off Duty founder, Bernard Rix, had undertaken work for the Home Office on this subject.
Off Duty's focus remains providing information and assistance to long service officers approaching retirement, and those recently retired.
