What is to happen to your property if you die? Will
your hard-earned assets go where you would have wished?
If you have not made a will, the Intestacy Rules dictate
how your estate is to be distributed. Your loved ones
may not receive anything, and, if they do, a large tax
bill may still be payable. The value of a family home
can easily bring your estate within the reach of Inheritance
Tax unless you have made provision to minimise or completely
avoid this.
Off Duty has identified Jacksons Solicitors as offering
an excellent will writing service. They offer an inexpensive
and effective solution to the question of what is to
happen to your assets by drawing up a custom-made will
for you. A will gives you control as to who should receive
gifts and legacies from your estate after the payment
of debts and expenses. You can make specific provisions
to benefit your children and grandchildren, and gifts
to your favourite charity.
All you need to do is complete Jacksons Solicitors'
confidential questionnaire and Jacksons Solicitors then
do the rest. All but the most uncomplicated of estates
have to be properly and professionally administered
so that all assets can be brought in, property sold
if required and distributions made in accordance with
your wishes. Jacksons Solicitors can either be appointed
in your will as executors or Trustees to act at a specially
discounted Off Duty rate, or they can advise you as
to who else might be able to act for you in that capacity.
